Arthur "Blue Boy" Rudolph was born December 9, 1944, to the late Willie D. Rudolph and the late Viola Rudolph of Greenville, AL. As a young man he touched the lives of many young people. He was an usher and a member of the church choir. He organized and coached men's and women's softball teams called the Hawks and the Road Warriors in the Baptist Hill community. He was an usher until his health started to fail. He departed this life on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Rudolph; mother, Viola Rudolph; wife, Betty Rudolph; sisters, Lillie Rhodes, Callie Robinson, Ruby Wilson, Dorothy Crenshaw, and Minnie Bell Mitchell; brothers, Jay Lee Crosskey, and Willie Rudolph, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, best friend and sisters, Mattie Harrison and Dora McClaney; devoted lifetime friend, Bessie Crenshaw; five daughters, Demetria Rudolph, Fabrienne "Nep" (Spencer) Burnett fo Andrews Air Force Baser MD, Tanisha Crenshaw of Charlotte, NC, Ivene Rudolph, and Shazzy Rudolph; two sons, Fredrick (Lurline) Crenshaw and Cameron "Dude" Crenshaw, all of Greenville, AL; seven grandchildren, Adrianne (Rudolph) Martin, Kiana Burnett, Kendrick Burnett, Shaterika Rudolph, Chyna Davis, Christian Davis, and Chase Thagard, one great grandchild, Dreianna Martin; and one brother, Oscar (Debbie) Hicks of Ohio; four special nieces, Evelyn Lewis, Lillian Hamilton, Samara Robinson, and Selena Rudolph; two special nephews, Daniel Longmire, and Wayne Crenshaw; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Also, a special friend, Ivey McKee.
