Ellen Hoskins

Ellen “Bell” Gilmore was born on October 20, 1929 in Georgiana, Alabama to the late Leamon Gilmore and Adella Carter Gilmore. She joined the Mt. Rose Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member until her health failed. She departed this life on June 27, 2019.

She moved to Trenton, New Jersey and married the late Wendell Evans. To this union one child was born, Anthony Wendell Evans. She later married the late Richard Hoskins.

Ellen was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

She leaves to celebrate her homegoing, son Anthony (Stephanie) Evans of Hempstead, New York; two sisters: Sadie Gilmore of Georgiana, Alabama and Ora (Sam) Boykin of Swanton, Ohio; two grandchildren: Natasha Clay and Alberta Franklin; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
