Frederick Lane Kemp was born on July 17, 1966 to Curtis Kemp Jr. and Willie Belle Kemp in Butler County, Alabama.
He was proceeded in death by his brother, Curtis Wayne Kemp.
He was a graduate of Greenville High School in 1984. He later joined the National Guard Army in 1984.
Frederick reunited and married Phyllis Clayton in 2010. He had four step children, Minister Lashonda Clayton, LaToyia Clayton, Lametrial Clayton and LaDerrus Clayton.
Frederick enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, detailing cars, cutting hair, playing basketball and mechanic work. He loved to dress up and wear his snake skin boots.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted mother, Willie Belle Kemp; his father, Curtis (Helen) Kemp Jr. of Greenville, AL; one daughter, Layla Powell of Greenville, AL; a companion, Stacey Winfield of Greenville, AL; three brothers, Willie Frank Kemp of Detroit Michigan, Donnie L. (Vickie) Kemp of Greenville, AL, Darren Lamar Kemp of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Felicia Kemp of Detroit Michigan, a very special sister Veronica (Michael) McNeil of Greenville, AL; one devoted grandmother, Annie Poole of Greenville, AL; two aunts, Willie Nell Riley of Birmingham, AL, Mary Kemp of Montgomery, AL; two uncles, Fletcher Perdue of Greenville, AL, Charles (Sandra) Perdue of Birmingham, AL; four special nieces, Mya (My Girl) McNeil, JaKira Cherry, Demetria (Sister) Simpson, Talia Lewis,; two special nephews, James (Green) Smith, Mario (O) Simpson,; a devoted cousin, Wanda L. Bishop
