Gracie Lee Robinson was born on July 29, 1922 to the Late Mary Smith and Eddie Brown Sr. of Forest Home, AL. She accepted Christ at an early age at Spring Hill Baptist Church of Forest Home, AL but, spent the majority of her adult life as the "Church Mother" of New Bethel Christian Church under the leadership of Rev. Tommie L. Means.
She departed her earthly vessel on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the age of 97.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, the Late Clemon "Buddy" Robinson, Sr., sons: Henry James "Bubba" Robinson, Daniel Robinson, Sr. and Lloyd Robinson, Sr., son in law: Robert "Bob" Perdue Sr., daughter in law: Mary E. "Pete" Robinson and granddaughter: Sharon Denise Robinson. She was also proceeded death by her siblings: Shed Brown, O’Neal Brown, Sara Brown, Rosie Patterson and Eddie Brown.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her children: Clemon (Eula) Robinson Jr., Gracie Perdue, Edward (Melissa) Robinson Sr. and Arthur Robinson; daughter in laws: Mary A. Robinson, Burnadette Robinson and Gloria Robinson; Siblings: Mary Alice Crenshaw, Betty (Donald) Crenshaw, Mary Elizabeth (Herman) Payne, Jimmy Brown; she also leaves to cherish a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
