Jennie Bonner Obituary

I, Jennie (Boot) Bonner, have gained my wings. I am absent from this body, I’m rejoicing and present with the Lord. My place on this earth began February 24, 1955 and it ended on November 29, 2018. While on my journey here on earth I attended the Butler County Schools, I attended Deliverance Temple until my health started to fail.

I worked at various factories, Allied, Forte and Russell Mill.

The Lord blessed me to have the best parents ever, the late John Lee Bonner Jr. and Mary Alice Palmer-Bonner. I was truly blessed to have one child, Kimberly Kristine Bonner, now we are walking around heaven together.

My dearest family please don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God has laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at the end of the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these things I will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow, my life has been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, don’t lengthen it with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now, he set me free.

My dearest family be there for each other, lean and depend on each other, but mostly looks to the hills which cometh your help it comes from the lord.my darling Billy Ray Scott Sr., for the last twenty (20) years you have been by my side, this was a journey I had to take alone, stay strong my love and know that I loved you until the end.
