Miller Bubba Blankenship

On September 4, 1949 God blessed the late Henry and Katie McCorvey Blankenship with twins Miller “Bubba” Blankenship and the late Mildred “Jelly” Blankenship Melton in Awin, Alabama.

     Miller met and married Willie Jean Smith and to this union 4 children was born: Lamesa Tellis, Melissa Jones, Miller Blankenship Jr. and Kissany Blankenship.

     He later met his  devoted companion Ms. Mary and to this union 4 children was born: Anita Bradley, Margaret Bradley, Eric Bradley and Michael Bradley.

     Along with his parents and twin sister he also had one son, 1 daughter and 1 grandson to precede him in death.

     Miller departed this life on March 28, 2019.

     Miller leaves to cherish his memories: a loving devoted, dedicated companion for over 40 years, Mary Ann Bradley, Pine Hill, Al; children: Lamesa (Gregory) Tellis, Miller Blankenship Jr..  Melissa Jones, Kissany Blankenship, Tasharra Blankenship, Anita Bradley, Margaret Bradley, Eric Bradley and Michael Bradley, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Georgia “Mom May” McNeil and Margaret (Albert) Osborne,  a host of sisters-in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
