Minnie Bonner Obituary

Minnie Bonner was born on July 8, 1932 to the late Susie and Allison Young, Sr. in Wilcox County Alabama. She entered eternal rest on January 12., 2019 at the age of 86. Minnie was preceded in death by her five siblings: Pearl Lee Sims, Freddie Mae Young, L.C. Young, Joe Young and Carrie Lee Savage, husband, Curtis Bonner, son, Curtis, Jr and two daughters: Shirley Ann Bonner and Hazel McConnico.

She leaves to cherish her forever love and legacy: three sons: Jessie Bonner of Snow Hill, Alabama, Wendell (Centhevia) Bonner of Greenville, Alabama and Frederick (Denis) Bonner of Camden, Alabama; six daughters: Juanita Bonner of Hyattsville, MD, Dorothy (Luther) Johnson of San Fran, CA, Barbara (Jim) Hale of Newark, OH, Julia Ruth Bonner and Brenda Bonner of  Los Angeles, CA and Carolyn (Frank) Thomas of Snow Hill, Alabama; two siblings: Allison Young, Jr. (Lee) of Pittsburgh, PA and Sarah Baker of Upper Malboro Maryland; 18grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, one great greatgrand and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Minnie was a compassionate and loving person who would help anyone regardless of who they were and loved her family unconditionally. Minnie once sung with gospel group called "The Singing Angels". She was a God fearing woman and the most important factor in her life was her faith in God.
