Mr. Obie Harris Jr

Obie Harris Jr, was born on October 15, 1929 to the late Obie Harris and Zula Mae Simpson in Butler County, Alabama.

He confessed Christ as his Savior years ago and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, there he remain until his death.

He worked in Tallahassee FL for years, he came back and worked at Fortex Manufacturing until closing. He begin working at the People Bank in Greenville until he retired.

He was  preceded in death by his devoted wife: Mrs. Geraldine Harris, Brother: Charles Harris, Sons: Bobby Harris and David Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted daughter: Annette Bowen, 4 sons: Melvin (Debra) Harris, Birmingham, AL; John Edward Harris, John Henry Harris, Montgomery, AL; and Mason Rich, Greenville, AL; very special grandchildren: Antonio (Punkin) Harris, Demetrice Parmer, Katrice Bowen, Danielle Bowen, Kendra Bowen, Shanessa Harris, John Henry Harris Jr., Melvin Harris Jr., Pierre Warren and Jennifer Williams; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A devoted Caregiver: Mr. Whorlee Knight better known as Charlie.
