Rosie Peterson

     Mrs. Rosie Lee Peterson was born November 10, 1925 in Fort Deposit, Alabama to the late Ivory and Margaret Flowers.

      She confessed Christ at an early age and united with Union

Missionary Baptist church and continue her word and deed until her passing.

     She met and married the late L. B. Peterson Jr to this union five children was born Dorothy, Mary, Rosie, Willie and Margaret.

      She departed this life on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Greenville, AL.

      She leaves to cherish her memories one son: Willie Peterson(Glenda); four daughters: Dorothy Griffin (John), Mary Peterson, Rosie Peterson, and Margaret (Johnny L.) Purifoy,  all of Greenville, AL; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one sister; Minnie Pearl, Birmingham, AL; a very devoted granddaughter: Natasha Purifoy, a host of nieces , nephews, cousins and friends.
