Mrs. Adeline Stroud Freeman was born to the late Sam and Sallie Mae Nichols Stroud on August 3, 1946 in Crenshaw County, AL
Adeline attended school in Luverne, AL at Crenshaw County Public school where she graduated and became the school secretary. Adeline met and married the love of her life, the late Mr. Willie James “Jake” Freeman and they was married for 47 years. To this union was born two children, Sherry and Terry.
Adeline was a very active and faithful member of the church. She was church secretary and missionary; whatever her hands found to do in the church, cemetery or schoolhouse she would do it. Adeline loved gardening, cooking and baking. She worked at Vanity Fair Health Tech.
Adeline’s Husband, Parents and three sibling: Blanche Mae Stroud, Cline Stroud and Roughton Stroud.
Adeline leaves to cherish her beautiful, loving memories: two devoted and loving daughters: Sherry Freeman, Fairburn, Georgia and Terry (Terry) Vines, Camp Hill, Alabama; Two grandchildren: Adeline Kristen Glenn and Terrentz (Maleka) Ramsey; Two brothers: Huriah Stroud and Thomas R. (Kimberly) Stroud both of Luverne, Alabama; one devoted sister who was a loyal, caring and faithful caregiver of Luverne, Alabama; four great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Luella Richardson of Mobile, Alabama and Lula Freeman Hall of ?; two brothers-in-law: Robert Freeman of Pennsylvania and Lonnie Freeman Jr. of Rutledge, Alabama; devoted niece, Mary Grace Peoples; devoted cousins; Pauline Payne and John Robert Stroud; a host of nieces, nephews other relative and friends who loved and adored Adeline for her warm caring ways.
