Annie Mallory Obituary

     Annie Laura Peagler Mallory was born on November 9, 1947 in Butler County, Alabama to the late Mr. Junior Peagler and Mrs. Ellis Juanita Peagler.

     Annie graduated Southside High School class of 1966. She was a faithful member of the House of God Church she was a  Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Choir.

     In 1966 she united in matrimony to Rev. Robert Lewis and to this union  three children was born: Jerome, Fitzgerald and Stephanie. They were her pride and joy.

     Later in life she met and married Mr. William Mallory.

     Annie was a quiet soul. She was full of life and loved the Lord, she always had a smile on her face and rarely raised her voice. Annie loved her family with a kind, gentle and selfless heart. She was a devoted Godly woman and will truly be missed by all who loved her.

     Annie departed this life on May 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father: Junior Peagler, two brothers: Herman and James Peagler  and one stepson: William Mallory.

     Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Mr. William Mallory; two sons: Jerome Lewis of Prattville, Alabama and Elliot (Claudia) Lewis of Greenville, Alabama; one daughter, Stephanie (Demetrius) Scott of Ft. Deposit, Alabama; a loving mother: Mrs. Ellis Juanita Peagler; brother: Harold (Jerry Dean) Peagler; 2 special sisters-in-law: Lois Peagler and Teresa Peagler; 14 grandchildren: Aundrea, Sher’Ryan, Terrance, MaKayla, Tyler, Jay’len, Key’len, Cameron, Te’Era, Jeremy, Marneshia, Zymarioyon, Fernandez and Brandon; 10 great grandchildren: Jerriyah, Haven, Passion, Railyn, Jaylen, Jer’Ryah (Tera), Ava Sky, Makaylee, Brayden, Kingston and Nolan;  6 step children: Shantell, Anthony, Cornelius, Sheila, Jennifer and Kelvin; 2  aunts: Mamie Brown and Evonne Smith; 2 brothers-in-law: Apostle Joe Neal (Charlene) Mallory and Jerry (Jacqueline) Mallory; 5 sisters-in-law: Linda Gaffney Burn; Pastor Catherine (Rev. Frank) Grace, Mary Lynn (David) Albritton, Martha Jones and Veronica Mallory; a host of special nephews, nieces, other family and friends. 5 devoted friends: Mrs. Earlene Jones, Mrs. Terry Lee, Mrs. Lula Griffin, Mrs. Linda Robinson and Denise Middleton; 2 very special friends: John & Mozell Peagler.
