Annie Easterling Poole was born on January 3, 1922, in Greenville, Al to the late Mollie Milner- Easterling and Cleave Easterling Sr. She later met and married the late Willie Poole.
Annie joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church during her early childhood years and remained a faithful member until she became ill six years ago. She loved her church and church family. She enjoyed playing dominoes, checkers, gardening, and cooking. She
fed many people from the community and around town.
Annie was a wonderful Mother to her two daughters. She raised Charles, Johnny, and Fletcher Perdue. She gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Orchard Health Care in Hayneville, Al.
Annie is preceded in death by her husband Willie Poole, her two sons Charles and Johnny Perdue, mother Mollie Easterling- Corley and her father, Cleve Easterling; grandmother Mollie Milner, Grandfather, Ned Milner Sr.; two sisters, Mary Goldsmith, and Myra Knight, four brothers, Cleave Jr., Ed, Will and Lewis Easterling, one grandson, Frederick Lane Kemp.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her loving daughters, Willie Belle Kemp, Greenville, Al.; Willie Nell Riley; Birmingham, Al.; one son, Fletcher Perdue, Greenville, Al., thirty- three grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren, thirty-four great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sandra Perdue, many nieces and nephews, three special cousins Ethel Chambers, Callie Lewis and Brendel Frost, one special friend, Janie Poole and a host of other relatives and friends.
She helped raise and was a mother figure to four other children.
