Calvin "Moochie" Powell

Mr. Calvin “Moochie” Powell was born to the late Roy Lee Powell, Sr., and Rosie Pearl Powell on December 31, 1981. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of The Father’s House under Apostle Bobby D. McKenzie II.

Calvin loved to cook, play the guitar, listen to music, and had a strong passion for working with computers. Calvin was passionate about his family & friends. He always had a smiling face and was fun to be around because of his unique personality. He was very outspoken, yet he was everybody’s “favorite”.

He leaves to cherish his memories to a loving mother Rosie Powell (Greenville, AL). His siblings Richard (Donna) Powell of Hartford, Ct., Darrell Durant of St. Petersburg, FL., Janice (Quincy) Robinson of Letohatchee, AL., Christopher Williams (Cassandra Murphy), Dorethea (Jesse) Marsh, Roy Lee Powell, Jr. (LaConya) Powell, Aaron Powell (Marlena Mason), and Senia Powell all of Greenville, AL. A devoted nephew Quincy Robinson, Jr., a devoted niece Hydeia Marsh and devoted friends: Eli Adams, Rhonda Scott, and Brian Williams. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He also leaves memories to cherish to his aunt Patricia and Marcus Huffman (Pensacola, FL) whom he held near and dear to his heart, often calling them his second parents.
