Affectionately known as “Hun” Carrie L. Lee was born to the late Moses & Martha Smith. She was the baby of nine siblings, seven of which preceded her in death.
She confessed Christ at an early age at Kelly Temple Holiness Church, and later became a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Her favorite scripture ,she often time quoted “follow peace with all men, holiness without no man will see God”!
She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 daughters, Karen Perkins, Tonja Lee and LaKeitha Lee all of Montgomery, Al; 1 son, Monroe Lee Jr. of Montgomery, Al; grandkids: Kwanzaa Smith, Kirsten Perkins, Kiely Fort, Tashi Perdue, Kendall Lee, Jauna Crenshaw, Precious Davidson, Mikayla Lee, Alexsis Lee, Braylyn Lee, Destiny Lee, Kaiden Lee, Trinity Lee and Jaleyah Lee all of Montgomery, AL; great grandchildren: King Smith, Kari Adams and Karsen McDowell all of Montgomery, AL; 1 sister, Mattie L. Smith of Greenville, Al; Brothers & sisters-in-law: Grant (Ruth) Lee, Bonetta (Charles) Jones both of Greenville, Alabama; Terry Lee, Atlanta, Georgia; Marqua Smith, Honoraville, Alabama and Doris Smith of Ft. Meade, Florida a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.
