Curtis Posey

      Curtis Posey was born to the late Rev. Isaiah Posey and Betty Moorer Posey on January 16, 1982 in Selma Alabama.

     Preceding him in death: his father, Rev. Posey, grand parents, several aunts and uncles.

     His passion was working on cars.

He departed this life on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Regional Medical Center.

     He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife of thirteen years, Calandra Bone Posey. To this union 2 children was born. one son, Curjoveon Alexander Posey and one daughter, Curtencia Aimaneke Posey.  Mother, Mrs. Betty Posey, 3 brothers, Austin Xavier Moorer, Keith Orlando Posey, Lionel Cornelius Posey; 2 sisters, Miranda (Curtis) Mixon and Latonya (Kel) Oliver. 2 sisters-in-law, San Bone Mack  and Pamela (Willie James) Mack; 1 brother–in-law, William Lewis Bones; 8 aunts, 4 uncles, 2 special uncles;  father & mother-in-law, William (Mattie) Nix; a special niece and nephew, Courtney Mixon and Christopher “Bubba” Mixon ; 3 special friends, Joe Craig, Melvin “Mookie” Paige And Lee Haynes; a host of nieces nephews, cousins and the boys from the shop.
