Danny Ray Parmer

Dear Lord,

This is but a storm in our lives. We pray for peace and our hearts are gladden because we know that in our times of trouble you will make everything alright……

Mr. Danny Ray Parmer was born August 30, 1960 to the late Robert and Zellene Parmer. Danny was the oldest and only boy of five children.

He joined the old Elam Baptist Church at an early age; he later joined the Greenwood Church of God in Christ.

He was united in Holy matrimony to Jennifer Powell on October 10, 1986 whom he shared 34 years of his life.

He departed this life on March 21, 2021 at Crowne Health Care, Greenville, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Zellene Parmer; sister: Glenda Parmer, grandparents: Pauline Parmer, Robert Parmer Sr. and Sherman Chappell.

He leaves to cherish his memories : his wife, Jennifer Parmer;  stepson, McGarrick Powell; four sisters: Deborah Parmer, Barbara Parmer, Sandra Harris and Deborah Peagler; grandmother: Mrs. Lora McDonald. Step mother, Mrs. Eva T. Parmer; step brother, Johnny (Ferita) Taylor; 2 step grandchildren, Shiluv Bedgood and Elana Powell; one devoted niece that he raised, Laterria Larkins; 4 sisters-in-laws: Betty (Michael) Tyson, Mae P. Gaffney, Margaret Powell and Callie Powell; 1 brother-in– law; Spencer Powell; 6 nephews: Anthony, Cornelius, Brandon, Markeil, Michael and Chris; 3 nieces: Luceshia, Patrice and Porcha; 4 great nephews, 5 great nieces; 4 god children: Jada, Kemaurion, Asia and Terrance Powell; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all whom he loved.
