DeAndre Powell

DeAndre C. Powell was born in Crenshaw County Hospital to Keysha Powell (Matthews) and Shawn Hale on January 25, 1993.  He transitioned suddenly on March 29, 2020  he will be missed by his loved ones until they meet again.

Preceding him in death his daughter Serenity A. Powell (Jasmine, grandfather Willie Fred Gaffney, Great grandfather Robert Powell, step grandfather Fred West, step father Luster Matthews, sister Paris Marsh.

He was reared in a Christian home and joined and was baptized in the faith at Harrison Street Christian Church.  He was a graduate of the Butler County School System graduating Greenville High School class of 2011.  He loved music and was a flourishing rap artist a craft he shared with his brothers, Quay (Otgpurp) and DeAngelo (Delo), his goal was to become professional, he leaves this to his brothers to carry the torch (Bro yall got this).

He leaves to rejoice in his life his parents Keysha Powell Matthews, Shawn Hale. Maternal grandmother Min. Rebecca West, Paternal grandmother Shirley Hale, grandfather Eddie Brown Jr. Maternal great grandmother Jessie Mae Powell, sibling maternal brother Quayshawn (Jessica Searight) Powell, DeAngelo Powell, Paternal siblings Aquanta Thigpen, Keoka Thigpen, Marshawn Thigpen, Demontavis Thigpen, Ny’Bresha Thigpen, Ashawanit Thigpen, Shawn Hale Jr., Shawdarius Steiner, Maternal uncles: Sean (Lashaundra) Powell, William (Michelle) Powell, Ezekiel Powell, Gary Powell, Cedrick Powell, Paternal uncles & aunts Sharonda Hale, Stanley Hale, Alexandria Roper. Delisa Betton, nieces and nephews Damani Powell, Journee Powell, Jaden Searight, Jonterrance McCray Jr., his best friend Benjamin Mosley (Ben) a host of relatives and friends.
