Mr. Rufus Reeves Sr. was born to the late Henry and Matilda Reeves on September 29, 1937 in Keego, AL.
He was a devoted deacon of Harrison Street Christian Church.
He worked for Countrywide Trucking for 36 years, he moved on to Evergreen Forest for 10 years, and then went to J & A Trucking until he became ill.
He leaves to cherish his memories; five children, Rufus Reeves Jr., Kenneth (Marie) Reeves, Robert (Barbara) Reeves, Marion Mimcey, Jakila Simpson; siblings, Ruben Jenkins, Sammie Lee Reeves, Eugene (Bubba) Dean Reed, Hommie Lee Reeves, Anderson Reeves, Roosevelt Reeves, Lucille Reeves, and Carrie Lee Dixon; fifteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
