Georgia McNeil Obituary

Georgia Blankenship Riley McNeil was born April 26, 1944 to the late Henry & Katie Blankenship in Wilcox County, AL.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Macedonia Baptist Church in Awin, Alabama.

She married the late James D. Riley in the early 60’s and to this union two children was born.

She later married the late Leon McNeil Sr.

She was preceded in death by twin siblings, Mildred Melton & Miller Blankenship Sr.; grandson, Tito Riley, whom she raised and loved as her own.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Diahann Warren, Greenville, AL; and Nora (Carl) Thompson, Camden, AL; one sister, Margaret (Albert) Osborne, Hayneville, AL.; six grandchildren, Curtis (Shameka) Jones Jr., Camden, AL; Marchello (Gwendolyn) Jones and Demario Jones both of Birmingham, AL; Fernandez Warren, Deuntae Warren and Devarris (Regina)  Warren all of Greenville, AL; a very special granddaughter, Regina  Riley, nine great grands, a host of sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A very special friend, Annie Bell Ellis.
