Ms. Glenda Mechelle Perdue, was born on February 6, 1966, to the late Margaret (Arrington) Perdue and Crum Perdue. She gave her life to Christ at a very early age and served the Lord faithfully as a member of Covenant Warriors Christian Center. She was a teacher for the “Little Rocks” in the church and served with her whole heart.
One of her greatest desires was to earn a college degree, and in 2009, she received an Associate of Arts Degree from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Early Childhood Development.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ms. Elvira Steele, Mr. Robert Lee Perdue, Mr. James Edward Perdue, and Ms. Clara Perdue.
She is survived by her five children: Mr. Larry Perdue of Birmingham, AL; LaNetria (Dominique) Bonapart of North Hanover, NJ; LaDarrence Perdue of Greenville, AL; LaKendria Perdue of Ladson, SC; and Libby (DeMarcus) Sears of Ladson, SC; five sisters: Mrs. Minnie (Willie) Walker of Ypsilanti, Michigan; Ms. Carolyn Perdue of Greenville, AL; Mrs. Beulah (Samuel) Webster of Montgomery, AL; Ms. Frances Perdue of Montgomery, AL; and Ms. Patricia Williams of Greenville, AL; and three brothers: Mr. James Earl (Christine (deceased)) Perdue of Fort Deposit, AL; Mr. Albert (Nicole) Perdue of Montgomery, AL; and Mr. Eric (Arlene) Perdue of Greenville, AL; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her very special friend Jack Bedgood.
