John Bogan

John D. Bogan was born to the union of the late Bubba and Betty King Bogan in Goshen, Al on March 15, 1924. He was 1 of the eldest of 7 children. He joined Old Mt. Zion at an early age and later joined Goshen First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Gracie Bernice Bogan, his parents, siblings and four children Jimmie, John Edward, Juanita and Keith Bogan. He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 devoted and caring children, Mae (Christopher) Parker of Goshen AL and Michael (Patricia) Bogan of Goshen AL. 1 child, Bettie Noble from a previous marriage; Grand children: Caleb, Dante, Erica, Fernita, Charles, Krystal and Jennifer; A very special great granddaughter Da’Myla Dawson. sister in law, Parie Bogan, Griffin, Ga; brother-in-law, Reverend E.J. (Effie) Elliott, McDonough, Ga; a host of other grands, great grands and great great grands, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
