Lee was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers. One sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and nieces.

Lee leaves to cherish his memories: five sisters, Edna (Sylvester) Ashford, Shirley Lett both of Gadsden, Alabama; Annie Posey, Systenitrica Posey both of Forest Home, Alabama and Tracey (Joshua) Coleman of Greenville, Alabama; two brothers, Bobby Simpson of Gadsden, Alabama and Clifton (Chaya) Posey of Prattville, Alabama; 1 aunt, Mrs. Edith Thomas, Gautier, Mississippi, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
