Lillie Savage Simpson was born March 18, 1932 in Greenville, Alabama to the late Pearlie Griffin Feagin and Harrison Feagin.
She joined the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
She was married to the late Henry Claude Savage to this union two children were born. Later she met and married the late Deacon Herman Simpson.
Her passion was flowers and gardening. She planted her garden until the age of “80”, due to a torn ligament her gardening days were over. She worked years at Allied Signal until retirement
She was preceded in death by her brothers Eddie Paul, Nealy, John A. and Governor Feagin, son, Henry Feagin.
This precious loved one departed from us on May 27, 2022.
Lillie leaves to cherish her memories three children, Min. Minnie (George) Ball, Shirley McKee Donaldson, Greenville, AL., Albert (Vallerie) Savage Raeford, NC; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grand
children, three great-great grandchildren, one brother Leroy Feagin, Clanton, AL., two sisters, Luemma Rutledge, Clairton, PA, Vera Colvin, Greenville, AL., step children, Marilyn Turner, Roger Simpson, Sharvin Simpson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
