Ms. Mary Frances McKee aka “Buddy” was born on April 14,1954. She was so special she had two birthdays; we celebrate her on April 13 as well.
Buddy was the youngest daughter of the late Sam Bo McKee and Alice Lee Lewis-McKee.
Buddy leaves to cherish her memories two Daughters, Octavia McKee-Davison and Pearl McKee-Toles (Gerald Toles). Three (3) Grandchildren; Christopher D. McKee, Cherelle D. McKee, Patrick Donnell Rogers II. Eleven: Great Grandchildren, Mariah McKee, Aiden McKee, Marissa McKee, Haven McKee, Jordan McKee, Azalea McKee, Malaysia McKee, Kaiden McKee, Jamir McKee, Emani McKee, A’drea McKee.
Buddy leaves four loving sisters, two of whom were very close to her: Mary Alice McKee Hamilton (Dime), and Vera Mae McKee (Bea). She also leaves loving sisters Callie Frances Jones Peasant, and Emma Jean Pressley.
She leaves a Brother Clarence Adams (June Bug), and is preceded in death by four Brothers Mr. Willie James McKee, Mr. Jessie Reynolds Jones, Mr. Jimmie Lee Porterfield (Tobe), and Mr. Willie Ed Lewis,
She leaves several special nieces: Jessie Pearl Jones-Beard, Louise Porterfield-Davis, Geneva Porterfield-Beck, Jessica Adams Jones, and many others including Priscilla Jones, Tracie Jones, Angie Jones, Tammie Lewis, Dariana Monet Watts, and Cezanne Michelle Payne.
She leaves special nephews Anthony Porterfield, John Porterfield, Eddie Joe Hamilton II (Shake), Christopher Antonius Hamilton, Richard Oliver Watts Jr. (Dickey), Johnnie Ray Albritton, Robert Jones Peasant (Mann), and others, including D’Anthony Michael Watts.
She leaves special grandchildren Shanda Walker-McKee, Sierra Sampson, and Darrell Sampson
She leaves a very close friend Tonya Sampson, and a close friend and cousin Barbara Rudolph.
A very close and dear friend who was always there for her is Ms. Regina Espy.
