Mr. Freddie Hall Obituary

Freddie Lee Hall was born on May 11, 1926 in Butler County, Alabama to the late Joe and Estella Hall. He ended his earthly journey on May 14, 2022 at the Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by two daughters, (Verna Hall Washington and Garry Cordelia Hall) along with five sisters and two brothers. 

     Freddie Lee accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Butler County, Alabama at an early age. He later joined Pine Belt Masonic Lodge #404, and was an active and faithful member for 46 years.

     He met and married Lula Pearl Dukes in1948 and were married for nearly 74 years. To this union, seven children were born. Freddie Lee worked as a farmer throughout his life and believed that hard work and honest sweat were the building blocks of a person’s character.  He spent lots of time with his children educating them on family history and events of the past.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

     He leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by a loving and devoted wife: Lula Pearl Hall of Rutledge, Alabama, one daughter: Glenda Hall Burruss of Huntsville, Alabama; four sons:  Bobby (Deborah) Hall of Montgomery, Alabama, Joe R. Hall of Radcliff, Kentucky, Freddie W. (Ann) Hall of Palm Coast, Florida, Henry Hall of Dothan, Alabama, one sister: Betty Sparks of Gambrills, Maryland, and one brother-in-law: Arthur Sharpe Sr. of Lansing, Michigan. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
