Jimmy Dee Smith Jr. was born July 6, 1955 to the late Airvesta and Jimmy Dee Smith Sr. in Greenville, Al. Jimmy met Sandra Smith in 1975 and married her in 1977. Jimmy moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fl in the late 70’s where he became a truck driver for A&A moving storage until he became a truck owner in the early 2000’s. Jimmy was a hardworking man until his health failed him. He was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by family and friends. He is proceeded in death by 2 sisters; Minnie Clyde (Dempsey), Patricia and 1 brother Willie Dee. Jimmy Dee leaves to cherish his memories 1 daughter; April Smedley, 2 sons; Corey Smith and Jimmy Dee Smith III all of Fort Walton Beach, Fl. 6 sisters; Beulah (Author) Mack of Monticello, New York, Catherine ( Dee-Dee) Scott of Detroit, Michigan, Mary Louise (Clemmie) Reese, Lois Smith, Edwana Warren all of Greenville, Al, And Christine Smith of Fort Walton Beach, Fl. 1 brother; George (Rose) Smith of Greenville, Al. 7 grandchildren; Jalia, Jakeria, John, Tatianna, Tavionna, Jimmy, and Josiah. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to Lois and Edwana for being Jimmy’s caregivers and a special thanks to Nora, Jimmy’s devoted friend.
