Clara Pearl Boggan was born to the late Allen Wilson and Sallie Smith on June 7, 1937. God called her home on April 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her longtime partner Henry Porterfield and 4 sisters: Lena Hale, Rosie Scott, Clara Williams, Lula Hale and one granddaughter, Cheketa Boggan.
She loved her flowers, animals, and decorations. She met and married Emmitt Boggan and to this union, 3 children were born. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son: Willie Boggan, Greenville, AL, two daughters: Linda (Elzie) McPherson, Columbia, SC, and Lynn Boggan, Greenville, AL, one brother: Fred Smith, Greenville, AL, one sister: Alice (Willie Lewis) Bennett, Pensacola, FL, 10 grandchildren: Angela (Ervin) McPherson, Washington, DC, Nikkia McPherson, Columbia, SC, Tameka (Willie) Walker, Sharonda (Rondell) Sanders, Kevland Boggan, Greenville, AL, Corey (Jessica) Boggan, Montgomery, AL, Carlos (Cicely) Boggan, Atlanta, GA, Jaimon Boggan, Greenville, AL, John (Erica) Allen, Ft. Walton, FL, Latasha Washington, Dallas, TX, 27 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, 4 devoted nieces: Demetri Mahone, Lillie (Ken) Womack, Brenda Simpson, Mozell (Mike) Cook and a host of nieces and nephews.
