Mrs. Myra Bell (Smith) Blankenship

Myra Smith Blankenship was born on July 11, 1946 to the late Willie H. Smith & Willie Bell Smith in Butler County, Alabama.

Myra joined the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

Preceding her in death: husband, Roosevelt Blankenship;  one son: A’Neal  “Nicky” Blankenship; one sister: Willie Nell Hamilton; two brothers: Ronnie E. Smith and Bodier H. Smith.

She met and married Roosevelt Blankenship and later she met Willie James Ward and to this union three sons were born.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four sons, Elbert James Smith, Andre (Stephanie) Ward, Willie (Nicole) Ward and LaDerrick (Talonda) Ward; three sisters:  Annie Nell (Walter) Hamilton, Juanita (Willie) Boggan and  Annie Ward; two brothers,  Willie H. (Eileen) Smith and Jerry L. Smith; 13 grandchildren; a very special niece, Shira Hawkins; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
