Ms. Wyzonia Thigpen

The late Wyzonia Thigpen was born on June 11, 1950 in Lowndes County, Alabama to the late O. D. Thigpen and Ethel Rose Thigpen.

   She departed this life in the comfort of her home on Thursday, October 14, 2021 with her loving family and friends by her side.

Wyzonia Thigpen was preceded in death by her husband, the late Lemon Rudolph, eight siblings: Linda Rose Scott, Mary Mason, Johnnie Mae Wilson, Lois Bradley, Loretta Harvey, Willie Mae Thigpen, Lee Earnest Thigpen and Ed Thigpen.

    She leaves behind to cherish her legacy a loving and devoted daughter: Lashondra (Mickey) Walker,  a devoted companion: Mack Arthur Dunklin, four sisters: Eva (Ronnie) McMeans, Izonia Walker, Doris (Robert) Mason, and Ivory Boone all of Fort Deposit, AL., one brother Robert (Lo) Thigpen, Mobile, Al.  A host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  One devoted friend: Shirley McCoy (Pokey) of Greenville, AL.
