Robert George

Robert Lee George was born on January   1943 to the late Martha George in Chestnut, Alabama.

At an early age he joined St. Matthews Baptist Church and moved away for 30 years.

He attended the Monroe County Training School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Franklin George; 5 sisters, Nellie J Webb, Jessie Mae R. Williams, Ruby H Moye, Mattie  George  and Alma George.

He answered the call of the most high on January 18, 2022.

He leave to cherish his memory his sisters and brothers: Thelma Kennedy, Beatrice, Al., Alma George, Chestnut, AL, Marilyn Rodgers, Louise Osborne, Dorathea Carstarphen, Katie Edwards, Josephine Crums, Catherine Morrissette, Mosel Rodgers, Janice Rankin, other sisters and brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
