Silas Herbert Jr.

     Mr. Silas Herbert Jr. was born on December 13, 1971 in Forest Home, Alabama. He was the second child born to Mr. Silas Herbert and Mrs. Bessie Lee Herbert.

     He attended Greenville High School (class of 1990) in Greenville, Alabama with high aspirations about life.

     Silas Jr. departed this life on May 15, 2020.

     At an early age he confessed his life to Christ while attending Rock West Missionary Baptist Church, he later attended Sweet Home A.M.E. Zion where he began singing with the Spiritual Wonders.

     Silas Jr. had an undeniable passion for life. He was known for his kindness, generosity and uplifting personality.

     He was employed at Koch Foods in Greenville, Alabama.

     He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Silas & Bessie Herbert of Forest Home, Al; siblings: Timothy Herbert, Victorville, CA; Arica (David) McWilliams  of Minter, AL; Shamone Herbert of Forest Home, AL, Sandra Herbert of Forest Home, AL;  and Dawn Herbert of Greenville, AL; 1 nephew, David Jr; three nieces: Celeste, Jalisha and Akeelah all of Minter, Alabama, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
