My name is Toni Denise Hugler, and today we are going to celebrate my life, because Lord knows I lived a good one.
Since no one can tell the story of my life better than me, sit back and enjoy because you may just learn a thing or two.
I began this journey October 31, 1966 in Greenville, AL with Tommy and Sarah Hugler who both preceded me in death. I was the first of four children. No some may have a hard time having their own individuality amongst their siblings, but not me because God blessed me with a voice that could move heaven and earth; when I opened up my mouth my voice made everybody that heard it “Bow Down”.
I left Greenville in 1987 and eventually made Montgomery my home. As the years progressed, I began to learn the true meaning of life along with my sense of existence and mothered five beautiful children.
Reflecting over my life, chile I’m smiling as God blessed me many times over. As a faithful servant, I had the honor of ministering to most of you here with my voice; recently I had the honor of becoming an ordained minister, I bet some of y’all didn’t know THAT did you? One of my many talents I take great pride in is reminding people of others they claim not to remember, but hopefully y’all know the ones that will continue to treasure my memories: my feisty daughter Tyranny, my laid back son Jermire, my daughter I always confided in first Naterrica, my son that gets that business handled and can sang just like his momma Marquez, and everybody remembers my surprise and boy was she a surprise Jamiracle, my grandchildren: Zakeiria, JaDarius, Kayden, Austin, Jayla, Mariah, and Jace always remember grandma Cookie will always be with you in your hearts, my siblings Heather, Tirria, and my first baby Fredrick whom I loved dearly and last but not least my other half Scooter, I love you baby and I will be waiting on you at those pearly gates with open arms.
While I was doing the Lord’s work through my ministry, I remained on of the most down to earth people you would ever meet, I never had a problem speaking my mind, but you already knew that didn’t you, and no one could say anything bad about my children. They all they’re my favorite and that’s how it should be, but my favorite was really my grandkids all eight of them. To all of you here at my Homegoing Celebration I may be gone from your presence but I’m still in your heart. To my friends, some of you were more than just friends you were my family and I want all of you to remember the good times we shared. Just because I’m gone from your presence, please continue to keep my kids uplifted in prayer.
That’s enough talking now because those of you that knew me know that once I get started I don’t know how to stop when we having a mighty good time so just sit back, relax and don’t cry for me, I have sent up my timber, I have sung and prayed my way through. When I got to heaven God had built my mansion right next to his.
I Love You All,
Toni
