Willie Roper

     Mr. Willie Roper affectionately known as “Bubba” was preceded in death by his beloved parents: Mrs. Sallie Mae Roper Scott and Mr. Johnny Roper.  He quietly and peacefully went home to the Lord on November 22, 2020 at the Bay At Woodward Nursing home in Detroit, Michigan.
     He attended the Greenville Training School, after graduating he enlisted in the Navy where he was honorably discharged.
     He United in marriage with his childhood sweetheart, Annie Laura Womack and to this union one daughter was born, Tammy Lynn Roper.
     He was preceded in death by three sisters:  Mamie Beamon, Amy Watts, and Elizabeth Malone.
    He leaves to cherish his memories 2 daughters: Tammy Lynn Carter and Robin Patrice Tucker. 1 brother: LeRoy (Mandy) Roper, 3 Sisters: Johnnie Mae Roper and Vera Taylor of Greenville, Alabama,  Jean (Eddie) Crittenden of Hephzibah, Georgia. five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; two Special Neighbors and Friends: Carolyn Ratliff and Celestine Fordham of Detroit, Michigan.
